Letter
from the Author, David Lloyd
To:
Supportive and Caring Parents
of High School and Seniors Frustrated
with the Poor Opportunities Available
to Them if they Continue with
Average Grades, Poor Work Ethic,
and Little Direction for Adulthood
Subject:
How
17, 18, and 19 Year Olds Can Do
Much Better in College and Prepare
for a Great Career
|

|

Dear
Parent,
Are you a concerned
parent, aware that your high school senior
may not be as prepared for college as you
wish they were? Are you concerned that
they may not be able to make the transition
to college effectively? Do you know
things they don't about college, and wish
you had some way to tell them?
Using the system outlined
in College
Success Secrets,
I guarantee your high school or college student
will:
"Make
Better Grades With Less Effort Using Time-Tested,
Proven Academic Performance Secrets - No Matter
How Poor You Believe Your Child Has Done in
the Past - or Else Get Your Money Back!"
We’ve never met, but
I know a few things about your child.
Whether they're still taking their SAT
tests, graduating soon from high school, or
in college already:
- They’re
ready to embark on the
most exciting years of their life.
- They
would love to know how
to put forth the least amount of effort
and
still
be recognized for their abilities,
consistently.
- If
someone told them about a plan for
getting
more of what they want in life and
less of what they don’t,
they’d want to know more about it.
How do I know
these things about them? This comes
from years of experience working with
thousands of high school and college students.
Adults too. All kinds of people.
And every one of them was looking for
answers to the questions they ask on a
daily basis.

Have
you ever wondered
...
why
great students
are so different
from others?
It
could be because
they work harder
or are naturally
smarter. Maybe
they know how
to motivate themselves
or have figured
out exactly what
to study. Or
they're just the
"nerds"
who will always
do well no matter
what.
The
real reason
some students
know how to do
well consistently
in school?
Because,
for the privilege
of fulfilling
their own potential,
they have learned
the principles
of classroom success.
This, in
and of itself,
is extraordinary
because it means
these principles
actually exist
and they've taken
the time to discover
them. But
what's even more
amazing is that
these same techniques
work repeatedly
so students consequently
believe
what
they are truly
capable of
in all areas of
life - and this
phenomenon prepares
them for unprecedented
success
as they get into
the real world! |

Your
may think there are no secrets to being successful.
But, as you know, at each stage
of life, we uncover more things we have
yet to learn. Here
are the secrets
most young people don’t know about yet.
These are easy-to-learn
strategies they can use to improve
dramatically in their academic and career
life, and additional suggestions on how
to stay motivated and develop close and
effective relationships with others.
Even if your student
hasn't succeeded wildly academically yet,
as long as they’ve been somewhat successful
in any other way, whether it be through
sports, music, or hobbies, they can
do very well in college and eventually
the working world.
Of course, if
your child has done well in school up
until now, then doing well in college
and their career will be much,
much easier!
Imagine how their
life would be if they understood these
concepts! If they didn't have to
go through college making unnecessary
mistakes by learning a few time-tested
simple skills. In just a moment,
I am going to tell you how you can help
them do just that.
But first, consider
these facts:*
College graduates
earn 90% more income,
over a lifetime, than those who just complete
high school.
Yet:
1 in 4 freshman
do not continue
as sophomores at the same school.
Half of 4-year
college entrants leave their school
without a degree.
7 of 10 of
Americans dislike their job.
Why is this --
when you as their parents and numerous
educators, advisors, and school counselors
are available to help them?
Why are more students
not staying in school when the financial
benefits alone are obvious?
Why are more not finding
careers they enjoy?
Click
here to get the book for $11 through PayPal.
If
you’ll stick with me for a bit, I will tell
you the reasons…and give your child a guaranteed
chance to overcome those miserable odds. And
learn how to get the most out of every area
of life.

How
about career-exploring
college students?
Have
you ever wondered
how certain
students are
able to find
a career they
love in college
and then influence
companies
to hire them
even when
the majority
of their peers
are still
looking for
work? Perhaps
you
do know a
few who did
find their
career passion
in college
and are now
working, for
good pay,
in the field
they majored
in.
Do
you know why?
Hint: It's
not because they
declare their
major freshman
year or pick a
career field that
is the most "employable."
On finding
jobs, it's not
because they post
their resume to
every job board
available, send
hundreds of emails
to employers,
make a few phone
calls, and then
sit back waiting.
There is
a calculated
yet simple strategy
put into motion
by college career-explorers
and job-getters
- the minute their
minds open
to how and why
people find careers
they are passionate
about and college
graduates get
hired. They
know it works
every time
because they understand
how people find
careers of interest
and how companies
make hiring decisions.
Wouldn't
you want your
child to know
what that simple
strategy is, so
that they can
be prepared halfway
through college? |
|
You may want to
know a bit about me. I graduated from
high school with an above average GPA
and then spent the first year of college
totally frustrated, confused, and academically
overwhelmed.
The transition from
high school to college was much harder than
I'd expected.
The material other
students seemed to comprehend so easily took
me hours of studying just to understand.
I just didn't get
it.
I was convinced that
there must be a better way to compete
academically and be prepared for a career.
So I decided to do something about it.
I began to watch closely what the straight
A students were doing. I asked them
about their study techniques. I also
inquired with those who had found a major
they liked and were on their way to successful
careers. I began to model what the best students
were doing, and used tactics I developed on
my own through trial and error.
Suddenly my test scores
began to rise!
In fact, after using
a few memory and speedwriting techniques to
study for my final exam in economics, I finished
the test in half the time as my classmates
and got an A on the test. I was shocked
how easy it was once I knew what to do.
From then on, my grades
shot up and I eventually graduated as one
of the outstanding seniors from my university,
known internationally for its high reputation
for academic excellence.
Now
well into my career, I'm an employment
recruiter, having helped everyone
from new college grads to mid-level
executives and Vice Presidents get
hired at companies including Apple,
Palm, Handspring, Hughes Electronics,
and many successful small businesses.
I know the employment game inside
and out.
I've also worked
hundreds of hours with high school and
college students in many capacities, helping
them effectively transition to the next
step in their life.
I
believe so strongly in the material that
I'm committed to putting it within the
reach of any student that needs it.

"This
is the
best book on student
success
I've ever read
- it should almost
be mandatory
reading. In
fact, I
wish I had a handbook
like it my freshman
year!
I have a
different perspective
from most - I'm
halfway through
an evening MBA
program but I
spend my daytime
hours helping
people find careers
they can be passionate
about. As
an undergrad,
I benefitted greatly
from the time
I spent as Student
Body President
so I
can personally
attest to the
value of so much
here
- how to have
good relationships,
manage time efficiently,
develop your strengths,
and do what you
really love.
I
particularly like
the organization
of ideas and the
way you begin
chapters with
what you will
learn and reflective
questions to consider.
And the
sections on heroes
and mentors were
right on - truly
excellent advice!
This book
could be a turning
point in the lives
of students
as they graduate
and pursue their
dreams."

"Dave,
I
found the information
here so valuable.
While I'm
doing a lot of
things right,
I realize there's
a lot about the
work world I still
need to learn.
This book
is very
practical
and is useful
for any current
high school or
college student.
Oh, and
I especially enjoyed
the dating and
relationship tips
- really good
stuff."

This
book rocks!!
I work with
hundreds of time-crunched
but very capable
students in overseeing
the largest student
spirit organization
in the country.
Many of
the concepts in
this book are
what
I try to convey
to students every
day
– how to balance
their activities
with their academics,
what
work experience
in college can
prepare them for
a great career,
and why enthusiasm
makes all the
difference. At
some point in
their lives, every
student decides
to take responsibility
for their choices.
When that
time comes, Dave’s
book will be an
invaluable resource.
